With an overall weight of 8.9 pounds, the gas-powered semi-automatic, magazine-fed Escort DF12 is manufactured from tough aircraft-grade alloy — its robust upper and lower receivers built to take a beating. It comes outfitted with an Escort standard oxidation-proof, chrome-plated, drilled steel barrel with a muzzle cover that locks the forend into place. It will cycle both 2.75- and 3-inch loads. A reversible bolt-cocking handle enables ambidextrous operation and Picatinny rails are crafted into the upper receiver forend, providing real estate for shooting accessories. An elevation adjustable cheek rest allows optimal sight alignment with both open sights and mounted optics. The DF12’s five-piece multi-choke system accommodates heavy slugs as well as it does light bird shot — and everything in-between.
