The Rubicon Pro from Bering Optics belongs to the class of the most compact red-dot sights available, designed to be used with both eyes open to maintain peripheral vision and depth perception. It is parallax free at 50 yards and its W/E adjustment turrets have a clicking mechanism, eliminating the use of the adjustment dial typical for this red-dot class. A conveniently located On/Off button is also utilized to manually adjust the brightness of the reticle according to ambient light conditions. Strong mounting screws allow the Rubicon Pro to withstand heavy recoil, which makes it suitable for shotguns as well as rifles and pistols. In addition, users can remove the Weaver mount base and mount the sight without a base directly onto the pistol mounting plate.
