The new Form 4473 from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms contains substantial changes over the previous form.

The ATF is strongly encouraging all FFL holders to begin using this new form immediately. Mandatory use of this updated form begins Nov. 1, 2020.

Dealers and FFL holders who want assistance or have questions regarding the new form can get help from the National Shooting Sports Foundation as an NSSF Member.
