Made specifically for younger shooters just getting into the sport, Savage Arms has introduced a nifty package deal on one of its most popular rifles to get more youth into the shooting sports.
The Savage Model 11 Trophy Hunter XP package features a factory-mounted, bore-sighted Nikon BDC 3-9x40mm scope with a specialized reticle that can be tailored to specific loads using included software.
Savage cut the weight of the standard 11 Trophy Hunter for smaller-framed shooters with an average length of just under 40 inches and an overall weight of seven pounds.
“The rifle package is built to provide a lifetime of reliable performance thanks to its legendary Savage 110 action, floating bolt head, and thread-in, zero-tolerance headspace system,” Savage says. “The rifle also features a button-rifled barrel, detachable box magazine and user-adjustable AccuTrigger.”
The rifle comes chambered in 223 Rem., 243 Win., 7mm-08 Rem. or .308 Win. and retails for $660.
