130 Decibels Of Self Protection

Designed to protect athletes exercising outdoors, the Runner Personal Alarm helps deter danger and calls for attention in an emergency.
130 Decibels Of Self Protection

For your customers who might not feel super comfortable carrying a firearm on the move, there are several non-lethal options out there to keep them safer than sorry.

New from SABRE comes the Runner Personal Alarm that blasts an ear-piercing 130 decibel alarm that the manufacturer says can be heard as far as 1,000 feet away — it'd be like trying to stand next to an F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet taking off on an aircraft carrier deck without any ear plugs.

That's 20 decibels away from total eardrum rupture.

The cool thing about the Runner is that it's light and fits in a small adjustable lycra sleeve that a customer can wear on their arm or wrist. The alarm is activated with a pull chord and features a reflective logo for runs in the dark.

The Runner is powered by 4 LR44 batteries and comes in at an MSRP of $19.99.
