The National Shooting Sports Foundation is hosting a webinar for firearm and ammunition manufacturers and importers, with a focus on the federal excise tax requirements.

The webinar will take place Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. EDT. Registration is required for participation.

A representative from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) will conduct an online seminar on how to complete TTB Form 5300.26, Federal Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax Return.

This session will include line-by-line guidance on how to complete the return, calculate tax and pay quarterly taxes due on the sale or use of firearms and ammunition. The seminar will also review tax exceptions and exemptions, and other matters of compliance. 

This two-hour seminar will be of value to all manufacturers and importers of firearms and ammunition and is sure to fill up quickly.
